Contract - Simon's Politics

Everything on this page is Simon's personal politics, not law. My politics are decentralist Green.

If done right, contracts are a preferred forms of social organization. They don't involve the government as a direct party (taxes and regulation are another issue, I'll get to them eventuality), and when done in a personal manner (ie. face to face) they can avoid harms of social alienation and nurture local production. Today - given the huge, huge (also very big) disparity between massive multi-billion dollar corporations and the sole isolated 'consumer' they are most often a charade of equal bargaining power, but we can change that by clawing-back our productive capacity to a local, personal scale.
